The Best Stocks for World War III

If there’s one thing pretty much everyone can agree on it’s that war is terrible. Nobody who knows anything about war wants to wage a war. Just like anyone who’s been in their share of fights knows that nobody ever wins a fight, most people realize that war, by definition, can only result in losses. But in a world where widespread war seems ever more possible, investors have the option to protect their portfolios and even see some profit by investing in what you might call war stocks.

war stocks

These so-called war stocks are actually the stocks of the defense companies that help keep our military one critical step ahead of those of our adversaries. And they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. There are large publicly traded companies. There are tiny private firms. And there are a few mid-sized operations, too. There are even real estate investments that could be categorized as war stocks. So today let’s take some time to cover some of the top companies in this category. That way, when we’re done, you’ll have a whole arsenal of top-quality war stocks at your disposal.

War Stocks: The Best of the Biggest

When it comes to building a list of war stocks, one of the first places you should look is at the top of the pile. And by that, I mean that when it comes to war stocks, it’s often the best companies that become the biggest operations. When you’re talking about the biggest war stocks, three names are at the very top of the list. And they’re there for very good reason:

  • GE Aerospace — $202.16 billion market cap
  • RTX Corp. — $165 billion market cap
  • Lockheed Martin Corp. — $143.78 billion market cap

Those three companies — GE, RTX, and Lockheed — are the three biggest defense companies in the United States. And they grew to those massive sizes by being the best at what they do. Combined, those three companies alone rake in over $200 BILLION a year in defense spending. During wartime, those sales only accelerate.

And what’s best is that all three of these big, dependable war stocks pay investors just for owning shares. So not only will you be prepared for whatever comes next, but you’ll also have a steady stream of income to help keep you afloat if things really do get worse.

War Stocks: Private and Prepared

But not all war stocks are publicly traded companies like those massive players. In fact, many defense companies never get the chance to become war stocks because they get bought up by big companies like GE, RTX, and Lockheed. But sometimes, one lasts long enough to become a war stock before it gets acquired by a larger rival. And in even rarer occasions, retail investors get the opportunity to invest in those private companies BEFORE they become war stocks.

And that’s just the opportunity I have for you today. You see, throughout my years on Wall Street and running my own family office, I got to meet a whole lot of people. And before I joined the ranks of investment bankers, my stint as an analyst for the Department of Defense introduced me to a whole lot of other people. And I’ve kept in touch with as many as possible. Because something I’ve learned in life is that who you know is often far more important than what you know.

And about a year ago, one of those folks I’ve kept in touch with over the years invited me to visit a very different kind of company with him. For starters, this company’s headquarters was behind the military line at the Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island in Florida. It would be the first time I had to use military clearance to visit a company. I also had to submit to an additional background check because I wasn’t the only guest who’d been invited. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was also in attendance for the demonstration.

The more I learned, the more my curiosity was piqued. So by the time I’d boarded the private plane that would fly us directly to the runway at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center, I was excited to see what all the fuss was about.

And what I found when we landed was nothing short of incredible. And it definitely classifies this company as a top-notch war stock. You see, the former secretary and I were invited to see the world’s only privately owned fleet of hypersonic aircraft.

And the reason we were invited was because the company that owns them had recently won a contract to help the U.S. military develop defenses against hypersonic missiles being deployed by Russia and China. And what got me incredibly excited about the investment opportunity was that the contract was jointly awarded to this company and GE Aerospace, one of those big players that likes to buy up its partners and peers.

But this company isn’t publicly traded yet, so I can’t give you the ticker and let you go buy it. So I’m going to do the next best thing. Because I’ve already created a special dispatch detailing the company, the opportunity, and instructions on how to make an investment before it goes public. I’ve shared it with my pre-IPO-focused investment community, Main Street Ventures.

And I’d like to share it with you today. Because, while it’s technically not a stock yet, this is a company that needs to be on your war stocks list without question.
